These homes are typically 2 or 3 stories that feature 3 or 4 bedrooms, a fully finished basement, a private yard/deck, and a double garage. The second style is also a 2 or 3 story home but with a fully self-contained basement suite that can serve as an investment property to rent the suite for $1,200-$1,300/m to help pay your mortgage or as an overall investment property where the entire property would be for rental purposes. You would rent the main and second floor to one tenant and the fully self-contained basement suite to another, for up to $3,500 total per month for the entire property.
